Welcome to the new lampl.net. I’m starting over yet again (seems to be something I have to do quite often). I hope to make this site a journal about what is going on with our family. This weekend, Scott and Michael went to Jamestown for Search and Rescue training with the Civil Air Patrol. On Tuesday this last week, Michael was promoted to Cadet Airman. I have pictures, but they are not processed yet. When I get them processed, I might post one here, but more than likely the majority of them will be posted on my flickr site.
Today was a calm day for the most part until the sewer backed up again (happened on Friday afternoon as well). Also, James swallowed a nickel, so we had to take a trip to the ER so they could take a picture of his insides to find out if the nickel was stuck. The doctor told us there are four places it can get stuck in your body. Three of those are before the stomach and the fourth after the stomach. Luckily, after an hour, the nickel had made its way to his stomach (which you can see quite plainly on the x-ray). We are to watch him and take him in for a new x-ray on Tuesday if the nickel hasn’t presented itself by then.
